About Company
The Nano-Network, an Ohio based organization, was founded in 2003 by scientists, entrepreneurs, and financiers to improve and expand nanotechnology research and commercialization efforts in Ohio. Since inception, the Nano-Network has expanded to over 400 active members which includes engineers (electrical, mechanical and chemical), scientists (medical and materials) and business professionals from both industry and academia.
The Nano-Network’s objective is to act as a hub for the awareness, development and commercialization of nanotechnology in Ohio. It is playing a vital role in making the region a recognized center in nanotechnology activity.
The Nano-Network has sponsored a number of meetings and activities designed to unify and invigorate the nanotechnology community in Ohio. These activities include major conferences such as Nano Week™, a nanotechnology business idea contest, advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill and at the Ohio Statehouse, as well as regular meetings and networking events, held approximately every 3 months.
