Grillo-Werke AG with its head office in Weseler Strasse in Duisburg is comprised of four divisions: Chemicals, Metal, RHEINZINK and Zinc Oxide. True to motto "Progress as a tradition”, the development of new processes, procedures, materials and chemicals in all business divisions has been a core focus since the founding of the company, with the aim of optimising products. Grillo-Werke AG has four divisions: Chemicals, Metal, RHEINZINK and Zinc Oxide. The Chemicals Division’s production locations are in Buschstrasse in Duisburg, as well as in the Frankfurt-Höchst Industrial Park. The Metal Division also has a location in Buschstrasse, with more production sites in Goslar as well as in Angleur (Belgium). RHEINZINK GmbH & Co. KG has its production site at its headquarters in Datteln as well as in Neulise (France). Grillo Zinkoxid GmbH has its production, analysis and administration concentrated at its headquarters in Goslar.
Chemical division focuses on the manufacture and the international sales of inorganic sulphur and zinc chemicals. Company also operates the most modern dimethyl ether plant in Europe. A variety of product specifications ranges from technical quality to ultra-pure pharmaceutical quality. The main areas of application extend from the chemical industry to the manufacture of fibre and cellulose, and from the feed and foodstuff industries to pharmaceutical applications.
Rheinzink is a subsidiary of the Grillo Group. Titanium zink is used for roofing, roof dormers, facade claddings and roof drainage systems. Rheinzink titanium zink is sought after as design-orientated and modern material - a number of internationally recognized architects have used this material in the execution of their plans and they have come to value it. Due to its durability and good recycling capability, Rheinzink is also the most popular material for standard roof drainage via gutters and pipes.
