At Xanofi, we believe XanoShear™ will join electrospinning and meltblown as a viable commercial process for producing nanofibers. We have several key advantages:

1. Cost - when it comes time to commercialize, our process will produce fibers very efficiently and with large yields.
2. Functionality - it's not enough just to produce a small fiber...these fibers need to have specific properties to each application. XanoShear™ has some great advantages for incorporating additives to functionalize fibers in new ways.
3. Ease - you don't have to get into the nanofiber manufacturing business with Xanofi...no costly capital equipment, no temperamental machines to fix, and no additional staff focused on providing a new material.
