Weizmann Institute, Braun Center for Submicron Research

Prof. Youseph Imry came up with the idea for founding a center in Israel for advanced experimental Submicron Research in 1980’s. They offer many studying programs. The subjects that is possible to study are for example: Phase measurements in complex mesoscopic systems, Utilizing quantum shot noise measurements for determination of 'fractional charges' and statistics of particles, Transport in one dimensional systems and many others. The Braun Center for Submicron Research was established in order to study and develop submicron semiconductor structures working in the mesoscopic regime.
