QuantaSol is a spin-out from Imperial College London and will use its advanced technology to enable it to become a world leading supplier of high efficiency III-V based solar cells. QuantaSol has pioneered the application of nanostructures such as quantum wells and quantum dots for solar photovoltaics. Using its unique, patented technology, the Company will manufacture single and multi-junction concentrator solar cells.

QuantaSol's world leading photovoltaic cell technology delivers not just greater conversion efficiency, but also better spectral performance and longer cell lifetimes than competing cells.
