The company has a deep pipeline of approximately 50 products in various stages of development, which includes a number of product applications pending at the FDA. APP has expanded its product portfolio and is among the industry leaders in ANDA approvals with 45 product approvals between 2001 and 2005. As of September 2006, the company continued this momentum with nine (including two tentative approvals) new generic product approvals from the FDA.
