The NanoMaterials Innovation Center (NMIC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alfred Technology Resources, Inc. provides universities and industry with critical technology resources in microwave processing, inorganic nanomaterials, and nanomaterials processing.
With a mission to enable technology transfer in inorganic nanomaterials science and microwave processing technology they provide a unique research and prototyping that encourages and supports market-driven collaborations between universities, industry and private labs.
The Center is an environment for advance research, incubate new technology and transfer technology to industry partners and provides equipment, facilities and infrastructure in for new ventures.
The Center is a provision to research resources supporting principal investigators of SBIR/STTR and CRADA research as well as a facility to actually conduct the university's end of industrially-sponsored research.
