Kyoto Nanotechnology Cluster
It is the nanotechnology research site of the Advanced Software Technology & Mechatronics Research Institute of Kyoto. Their research and development focus is "Environmental nanotechnology (energy and resources)" and "Environmental sensing."
This Kyoto Environmental Nanotechnology Cluster was founded in Kyoto and Keihanna. They try to establish regional cluster - Establishment of a center for developing environmental nanotechnology material, Enhancement of the support system for business deployment by the entire region and Establishment of global "Environemntal Nanotechnology Hub". They collaborate with overseas and domestic organizations and targets at developing industrial parts and devices by nanotechnology to ensure sustainability of industrial society and quality of life.
