AMPEL is a multi-disciplinary research center with nanoscience and nanotechnology research.
AMPEL was established by Professor J.K. Brimacombe who dreamed of building a facility to house and facilitate multidisciplinary materials engineering research. Nowadays, it is a place for research in Advanced Materials and Process Engineering, with cutting edge research that joins from the theoretical nanofibre physical properties to the production of advanced composites.
