Cancer Biology and Genetics

Their research in the Institute extends from population studies of cancer etiology, through tumor biology and clinical trials, to outcomes and health services research.
This Center was established in 2001. The open concept building was designed to accommodate three main cancer research teams already located at the University and to offer space for new cancer research initiative.
The Cancer Biology and Genetics (CBG) division laboratories use
members of the group that are involved in molecular, cellular, genetic and translational studies in various areas of cancer biology, including: drug resistance and metabolism, tumor progression and the regulation of cell growth, and proliferation and differentiation.
