Hokkaido University - MOVPE Nanostructure Group

The main business of this Research Group is to perform  precise research on formation of compound semiconductor nanostructures and their high-density arrays by utilizing metalorganic vapor-phase epitaxial (MOVPE) growth. This is one of the basic and the most versatile mass-producing technology for compound semiconductor devices and circuits in the present IT era. Based on this invention technology, the Research Group is also performing intensive research to explore physical properties of high-density nanostructure arrays and their applications to novel electronic and photonic devices.
