About Company
MagneCell Limited was formed in March 2003 to exploit novel technology from biomedical research at Keele University and the North Staffordshire NHS Trust.
The patented technology concerns a new type of bioreactor for use in tissue engineering.
Although in its early stages, tissue engineering aims to replace damaged tissues with healthy tissues grown from a patient's own cells or from a cell-line which does not trigger an immune response reaction in the patient.
The MagneCell bioreactor represents a significant leap forward in enabling tissue engineering to progress towards its ultimate clinical goal.
