This group is dealing with molecular computing.

Molecular Computation Project (MCP) is an experiment how to use the computational power of molecules for information processing. They try to develop a general-purpose computer with molecules. In  1994  L. Adleman published a breakthrough for making a general-purpose computer with biological molecules (DNA) and  since then, the word 'DNA computation' became widespread for the meaning of computation with DNA molecules.
