This group devote of searching for new optoelectrical phenomenons in atomic structures.
Department of Electrical Engineering and Department of Electronic Science and Engineering relocated to Kyoto University's new Katsura campus in 2003. The group in Quantum Optoelectronics Laboratory researche new optoelectrical phenomenons in atomic structures which result from new quantum phenomenons as well as the co-existence of light and electrons. Moreover, they try to project new optoelectronics devices. Their main area of aim are photonic crystals.
