Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University - M. Tech Nanotechnology

This university was founded in 2008. A wide range of study programs include  a 2-year and a 5-year program too. Their School of Emerging Technology includes Department of Biotechnology, Department of Food Processing Technology and Department of Nanotechnology. The university is the first of this kind in Punjab to start nanotechnology at under graduate level. The main research aim of the department includes synthesis and characterization of nano-particles for LED applications, defence applications, biosensor development, healthcare and environmental remediation.
