About Company

Dyesol Pty Ltd manufactures Dye Solar Cell (DSC) products, one of the earliest applications of nanotechnology in artificial photosynthesis. Dyesol acquired its intellectual property from Sustainable Technologies International, to commercialise that company’s technology for DSC photovoltaic cells and manufacturing equipment.

Dyesol features full production facilities, test equipment, research equipment, and materials. Dyesol has established the first factory to manufacture Dye Solar Cells (DSC) in the world, and is now commencing sales of proven DSC equipment to researchers.

Dyesol has built a close connection with researchers at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausamnne (EPFL) in Switzerland, where the original DSC discovery was made. DSC technology mimics the natural process of photosynthesis, using a dye to absorb light and generate electrons, which enter the conduction band of a high surface area semiconductor film.
