SAIT was founded in 1987. Generally, they develop the world's best or world's first technologies for new markets, create new convergence technologies, advance science-based nanotechnology research, develop technologies going beyond actual paradigms. Moreover, they have performed research collaborations all over the world. Samsung offers a specific collaboration platform to global universities ; Global Research Outreach (GRO) program. GRO program is an annual call for plans that bring the world's leading universities to propose innovative research ideas.
