National Science and Technology Program for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology

This program will coordinate the research efforts from various government organizations to achieve objectives that follow the worldwide nanotechnology development trends.

The National Science and Technology Program for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology was established in 2003. Phase I of the program integrated the nation’s resources in this area and expedited the commercialization of nanotechnology.

Nowadays, in Phase II, main development fields include nano-electronic and optoelectronic technology, nano-scale instruments, nanotechnology for energy and environmental applications, nano-scale biomedical research, and utilization of nanotechnology in traditional and emerging industries.
