Aichi/Nagoya Knowledge Cluster for Nanotechnology Manufacturing

The cluster will enable internationally competitive technological innovation by relevant exploration organization and R&D-based corporation, around the core of universities and public research organizations which serve as the base of knowledge creation.



Their aim is working toward the advancement of plasma nanotechnology and utilization of nanomaterial technology and device technology at key moments. This will facilitate the development of surface functionalization technologies and photonic and power device material technologies. R&D will be carried out in order to promote the use of environmentally-friendly advanced materials and processing technologies at the core business and small and medium-sized enterprises that support the economy of this region. Moreover, they are cooperating with advanced overseas research institutions in the area of plasma science.
