OTEC is a provider of oxides, fluorides, sulfides, selenides and metals for various PVD applications and, in addition to conventional vapor deposition materials, offers solutions adapted to the customer's requirements. COTEC has developed its proprietary DURALON group products, a nanolayer system for hydrophobic and oleophobic surface modification.
COTEC markets reach cover the ophthalmic and precision optics, surface refinement, display technology and last but not least in the automotive industry. One focal points of COTEC GmbH’s research and development department is the area of applied chemistry. This includes all the product development of chemical and polymer based thin layered materials for surface modification.
