Main Activity in Nanotechnology
MAPPER Lithography is a semiconductor equipment company, founded in 2000. The company focuses on the development and manufacturing of a new and highly competitive maskless lithography machine (a wafer stepper) for advanced chip manufacturing. The disruptive MAPPER technology combines advanced telecom techniques with MEMS components. The MAPPER solution combines thousands of electron beams in parallel with high-speed optical data transport. By eliminating the use of the costly mask, MAPPER represents a major breakthrough in lithography and enables a significant reduction in manufacturing costs and time-to-market. Currently, MAPPER is building its first prototype, which should prove that its technology is qualified for semiconductor production.
MAPPER Lithography is based in Delft, The Netherlands. Within a dynamic, focused working environment, MAPPER employs some 50 specialists, representing a mix of young enthusiastic graduates/PhD's and experienced engineers. The company has partnerships with leading international semiconductor companies such as TSMC and Philips. MAPPER's shareholder base consists of professional investors such as Residex Venture Capital Network and KT Venture Group, a number of private investors and Delft University of Technology.
